Today at Microsoft’s annual Build conference, Unity announced a partnership between them in Microsoft. They will work alongside the hardware and software giant to develop tools for the Xbox One entertainment system, including support for enhanced Kinect gestures and recognition, multiplayer matchmaking, SmartGlass and cloud gaming.

For any developers out there, the tools developed by Unity will be free or charge for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. We’d love to see how this partnership will affect the gaming quality that Microsoft promises to bring gamers with the new Xbox One.
