    maybe what they did was under clocked it at first so that sony and microsoft would underestimate the power when designing their competing systems then once they know the ship has sailed they release an update to enable the full power.

    @Ubernaut- Eh… that’s unlikely. I don’t think Microsoft and Sony are building their specs to match the Wii U, and besides Nintendo never released the specs of the machine anyway.

    As of now, there is absolutely no reason to believe this. Just some random guy posting something on the internet with no backing.

    On the other hand, there is no reason to believe the 1.24 figure that was put out before. This was also just one guy. It’s also a figure that was reportedly gotten from the Wii U through a hack when it was in Wii mode. It’s possible that the Wii U’s CPU and GPU are not working to their full capacity in Wii mode.

    Either way, all that really matters is how the games look and play.
