Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been dethroned from the top of the NPD list.
Dead Space 3 snagged the top spot in February. Other new titles on the list are Crysis 3 in third, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in fifth, Aleins: Colonial Marines in sixth and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time in ninth.
Meanwhile, Fire Emblem Awakening, while it didn’t make the list, moved 180,000 units, 63,000 of which were from the eShop.
Total physical sales totaled $810 million, down 25 percent from last year. The NPD also estimates that used games and rental sales were at $90 million, while digital transactions made up $319 million.
All consoles saw growth during the month, with the Wii U sales up 40 percent and Vita up 30 percent. The Xbox 360 also sold 302,000 units, topping hardware sales for the 26th month in a row.
