Capcom Details Games and Features for Capcom Arcade Cabinet
Capcom, which had previously announced Capcom Arcade Cabinet, which is for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, has finally announced all of the games and that will be available for the virtual arcade cabinet, along with some new details.
For starters, each game will have full HD optimization, while allowing gamers to tweak the aspect ratio, in case 4:3 is what you’d prefer for that old school feel. You’ll also be able to tweak the amount of lives, hearts, difficulty, etc. across each game, while online and co-op will be possible over Xbox Live and PSN.
All of the games will also feature a Casual Mode, which lets less experienced players still enjoy the experience and online leaderboards have also been confirmed.
Of course Achievements and Trophies will be supported while each game will have unlockable rewards, such as audio tracks, banner art and more. Capcom says a Music Player will also be part of the deal, which will churn out 8-bit arcade tunes in customizable playlists.
For Xbox 360 users, you’ll be able to upload screenshots directly to Facebook while on the PS3, players can record and upload replays directly to YouTube.
