If you’re on the hunt for a new TV and are trying to make sure you get the top of the line, you might have some trouble finally taking the leap since new technology seems to be coming out every five minutes. Maybe you were interested in some of LG’s TVs announced earlier this year (pictured above). LG’s upcoming wave of Google-ready Smart TVs might be head-turners for you as well; integrating web apps with a new “Magic Qwerty” remote control will bring these high-end displays to a new level of functionality.

Available in 42, 47, 50, 55, and 60-inch screen sizes, the LG CINEMA SCREEN display will also be available at the 47 and 55-inch sizes as well. Integration with Google TV and home Wi-Fi will also allow owners to quickly view videos from any Wi-Fi enabled device. Also, the user interface from last-year’s Smart TV models will be receiving an overhaul, with Magic Qwerty remote navigation becoming more streamlined and the ability to use voice-command based searching.

Wow, and I thought I was doing well just by finally upgrading my old CRT…looks like I’ve got a long way to go. Keep an eye out for more about these TVs at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show.
