Sony Confirms GTA III Getting PS2 Classic Release Next Week

A licensing issue caused a delay in being able to add GTA 3 onto PSN as a “PS2 Classic” some weeks ago. However, according to Joystiq PS3 gamers only have to wait one more week for GTA 3 to arrive.

Sony´s Asia site has confirmed that GTA 3 will arrive on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 in the regular PSN update that week.

So, anyone looking to do crazy things in the game that really blew up the GTA series can download it through PSN next week. Pretty cool deal for PS3 gamers.
