Rhythm games are becoming a rather prominent genre on the 3DS, what with Bit.Trip SAGA, Final Fantasy Theatrhythm, and Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure. It looks like Game Freak wants to get in on all the musical goodness; they’ve got a new game coming ’round the bend, and it seems to involve NO pocket monsters.
Rhythm Hunter: Harmo Knight is a hybrid rhythm-platformer where action elements will correspond to music. It’s releasing in Japan on September 5th at around $20 (1800 yen) in the 3DS eShop. Don’t know that this title will make its way stateside, but I’d sure like it to. Check out the video below:
