
After 2K Sports confirmed yesterday afternoon that the 1992 Dream Team would be included in NBA 2K13, many noticed that former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen was not in the screenshot that showed off the team.
Well VP of Marketing for 2K Sports, Jason Argent acknowledged to GotGame that Pippen will not be a part of the game.
“We continue to have a very positive relationship with Scottie, but were unable to include him in-game this year for a variety of reasons, though we share everyone’s hope that he may one day appear in our game,” said Argent.
It’s a shame that Scottie, who will forever be tied to Michael Jordan, a fellow Chicago Bulls alum and Dream Team teammate, won’t join the squad, but alas, we can’t have it all.
