With Microsoft hoping to gain some marketshare with Windows Mobile, and with the upcoming release of Windows 8, EA is reportedly in talks with the company to distribute some of it’s key mobile titles to the platform.
According to Bloomberg, EA COO Peter Moore spoke about the support during a phone interview before Gamescom.
“We’re working very closely with Microsoft to understand what their views on gaming navigation are,”said Moore. “Anything that allows more platforms to be adopted quickly that have a gaming element is good for Electronic Arts.”
Bloomberg says EA is planning on showing off SimCity, and updated versions of FIFA Soccer, Medal of Honor and Need for Speed at Gamescom.
