Square Enix Sees Fiscal Q1 Losses
Console gamers were not a winner for Square Enix in the first quarter.
The company reported a $27 million net loss in the quarter, with console game sales being called “weak.”
However, portable game sales, such as Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D in Japan,, were stronger.
The company also said mobile and social games performed well.
