According to Joystiq, Former Microsoft Corporate Vice President of Live and former Electronic Arts COO John Schappert is no longer the COO of Zynga Games, but is still with the company.
A Zynga spokesperson confirmed that in order to unify the company around a multiplatform approach they reorganized the teams in July to integrate web and mobile groups.
Zynga has had it almost as bad as 38 Studios recently, with lowered financial forecasts and an insider trading lawsuit as well. The company´s stock has dropped 70 percent in the last eight months.
