
According to Gameranx, an investigation is underway by the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (in Japan) that will be looking at reports of PlayStation Vita that have reportedly burned during recharging.
Keeping in mind that there have only been 31 total complaints, with 23 of them coming from Japan, Sony is also looking into the issue and are cooperating with the agency to determine the cause. Each case has apparently occurred from the connection slot between the Vita and the USB charger.
