SOE LIVE in Las Vegas Open for Registration

Ready to see what happens when your favorite MMORPG goes offline and into the realm of IRL?

Sony Online Entertainment has announced that registration is open for their twelfth-annual SOE LIVE convention. Industry and fans can delve into the offline worlds of their favorite online games, such as EverQuest I and II, DC Universe Online, and Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures.

The convention, formerly called “SOE Fan Faire,” will include discussion panels with the game creators and developers, keynote speeches, nightly activities including a pool party, “livequests,” silent auctions, a laser tag battle and more. Tournaments will be held for various games, including PlanetSide 2, and gamers can add to their equipment stash (offline, that is) in the SOE LIVE marketplace. The event will wrap up with a banquet and CosPlay contest for cash.

SOE LIVE will take place in Las Vegas, NV at one of the icons of the Strip, Bally’s Las Vegas. The event runs from October 18-21, 2012. Children 12 and under are free. Those who register by August 1 will receive an early registration discount. For current lineups and registration, log on to www.soe.com/soelive.
