Common nomenclature insists that April showers bring May flowers. Today, it is being suggested by the Nintendo Download that May flowers bring June hours of fun, exciting platforming with this week’s release of Rayman, the classic title that gave everyone’s favorite limbless hero his start, on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Sporting over 70 stages of action, the game is a great addition to anyone’s virtual library.
Joining Rayman on the 3DS is a demo for Order Up!!, a title that will have players cooking up a vast array of cuisines on their way to crafting a restaurant empire. 99Seconds also joins the fray on both the Nintendo 3DS and DSi as an old-school game that tasks its users with manipulating time and space to overcome a variety of enemies and obstacles. Rounding out the portable bunch is Kakuro by Nikoli, a Japanese number puzzler, on the Nintendo eShop.
Those looking to satiate their digital desires on a home console can look no further than Metal Slug 3, the latest addition to the Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console. Metal Slug is, of course, an iconic franchise that has players running from side-to-side shooting and slashing their way through a set of tumultuous battlefields.
All titles listed in the Nintendo Download are available now on the Nintendo 3DS, DSi, or Wii.
