
Ken Levine, Irrational’s creative director, told Edge magazine when asked if the rumored film based on the immensely popular Bioshock games was “dead” that although ”The thing with Gore [Verbinski] didn’t work out, but there’s no such thing as ‘it’s finished’ when it comes to making a movie out of something.”
Levine emphasized that while they are still hoping to make the film, the main concern and focus is on Bioshock: Infinite which is scheduled for an October 16th release on the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
