
According to Siliconera, EA has filed a trademark for SimOcean.
So what does this mean? Perhaps that means Maxis, upon completion of the upcoming SimCity will begin a new project – one that takes place in the water.
But whether or not this means there’s a new game in development or perhaps some sort of expansion, or maybe even just that EA and Maxis want to protect any future, possible projects, remains to be seen.
