THQ announced today that Darksiders II will receive a two month delay from its previous date June 26, to some time in August. The delay will affect the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions of the game. According to THQ the delay has been made to make sure the game is of high quality when it comes out.

Others in the industry wonder if the delay is to bring the other console versions closer to the release of the Wii U version of the game. THQ stands firm, saying the delay being for quality reasons and not because of other platform releases.

This is gives me enough time to go through the first Darksiders without having the feeling of rushing through the game. I want to enjoy every bit of it before 2 comes out.
