Two powerful mobile gaming companies came together today as Halfbrick Studios announced the acquisition of Onan Games.
Halfbrick Studios, the Australian company responsible for popular mobile titles like Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, has acquired Onan Games, the company responsible for Mandreel, which allows iOS, Android, Flash, and HTML5 app development from a single C++ code base. Halfbrick plans to use Mandreel to bring games to various web platforms like Facebook as well as licensing Mandreel out to other companies in the future.
